I recently reorganized my Stampin’ Up! card stock and ink pads to include the new 2019-2021 In Colors. I wanted to share with you my kaleidoscope of colors and how I have them set up by both color group and shade within my ink pad and paper storage. Click on the PDF below to download and save my Kaleidoscope of Color Chart. Download (PDF, 2.39MB) I started (left) with blues & purples, then moved on to greens. Yellows & oranges make up the third row, followed by pinks & reds. Neutrals are at the far right.
Purple Posy (a new In Color) will fit into the gap above Highland Heather when it’s available. This luscious soft lavender is getting retooled after some quality challenges. Both the ink pad and refill should be available in the next couple months. TAKE A TOUR OF MY STAMPIN’ PRETTY STUDIO in the video below. I loved the video of your new craft room… I somehow expected it to be more like every other craft room I’ve seen online. The best part of your room is that it is minimal show because you have the drawers and island storage! By next year I will have a nice new craft room. You’ve inspired me to think again about how to organize my crafts. I used to make scrapbooks so I have A LOT of 12X12 papers. I think I’m probably shorter than you, so mine would have to lower?. I will be staying with a 14X16 room with a door, ( with a window ), and window. I’m starting with a blank canvas. Id like an island in the middle, but not sure if it would fit in this size room… id appreciate any ideas or suggestions you might have for me. I want it neat and uncluttered looking. Maybe I’ll touch base with you when I’m visiting my granddaughter this Fall/Winter while she’s attending the U of A!
I wanna com play in your room. Margene EskelsonI love your craft room! It is perfect and elegantly simple. Seeing your use of Stamp n Storage products in an earlier video inspired me to set up my room using them. I’m in that process of converting right now and purging and eliminating all the excess “stuff” that just clutters my room. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me to make changes!!
Kadie LabadieOH MY GOSH Mary…….LOVE IT. Haven’t taken the kaleidoscope plunge yet for myself………Maybe when we get together next, you can coach me. LOOKS AMAZING my friend.
Celia JarvisThanks for introducing me to stamp and storage. I have only purchased the cases to store dies and embossing folders. I really like the 5×7 magnet cards for Thinlits. I like that they in with the stamps.
Hilda BurtonI love your well-organized craft room, Mary. It’s always a treat to see the video. Thanks for the PDF color chart for your ink storage. Have a great day!
Mary, I LOVE you craft room and how you use the windows to let the natural light in. You really have it functional and usable! Anyone could come and enjoy your craft room!! How do you store your extra craft items you made especially if you only have one? Like die cuts of extra balloons, leaves etc.
Hi Shirley, I typically make one of each card and store by theme (birthday, etc.) in the Iris bins. I could use that for extra pieces (a section) but rarely have “leftovers.”
